Our company aims to discover various herbal prescription which without side effect in human body to improve medical treatment and life quality of patients. We already developed JC-001 and JC-002. JC-001 is specific for cancer, it could raise immunomodulation, enhances immune system to decrease side effect of cancer treatment, especially chemotherapy. JC-002 is suit for myocardial infarction and ischemic stroke. It not only could increase blood circulation to decrease the brain infarct volume and myocardial tissue injury, but also reduces the nerve injury to improve exercise capacity after stroke and recover the function of myocardium significantly. In the future, we will develop various kinds of herbal prescriptions like asthma or Peptic ulcer to relief the burden of patients.
The herbal prescription of immunomodulatory enhancement (JC-001)
Many factors cause cancer, including viral infections, carcinogens exposure and genetic problems. A common mechanism of tumorigenesis induced by these factors is chronic inflammation that changes tissue microenvironment. Thus, a tumor can be simply described as “the wound cannot heal”. Before the formation of a solid tumor, the tissue often suffers chronic inflammation resulting endless local tissue repairment. Therefore, neglecting the early stage of chronic inflammation derived by virus infection or somatic cell damage caused by carcinogens generates tumor ultimately.
JC-001 is an herbal prescription for enhancing immunomodulation. JC-001 enhances the activity of natural killer cells and dendritic cells, activates macrophages, and stimulates proliferative capacity of T cells and B cells. In animal tumor models, JC-001 significantly suppresses tumor growth and enhances chemotherapy efficacy. In summary, JC-001 possesses tumor suppressive capability via immunomodulation. Further studies and clinical trials will be conducted to develop JC001 as an adjuvant of cancer therapy.
Quality of blood determines the health status. Modern life style accumulates excess metabolites that increase blood viscosity. Thick blood not only enhances blood clotting (or coagulation), but also decreases the elasticity of blood vessel. Furthermore, increased blood viscosity may impose extra burden on heart and kidney that causes blood metabolic associated diseases, such as stroke, myocardial infarction, nephropathy, diabetes, etc. Especially, thick blood will dramatically increase the risk of stroke, myocardial infraction, and nephropathy in patients with diabetes.
To solve the thick blood associated health problems, we developed JC-002, an herbal prescription. In acute ischemic stroke animal model, JC-002 not only decreases the brain infarct volume, inhibits oxidative stress and inflammation in brain, but also reduces the nerve injury to improve exercise capacity after stroke. In chronic myocardial infarction animal model, JC-002 could retard injury of myocardial tissue from ischemia and recover the function of myocardium significantly. In substance, JC-002 has a prevention capability of blood association disease. Further studies and clinical trials will be conducted to develop JC-002 as an adjuvant of ischemia and myocardial infarction therapy.
